API Access​

API Key Management​

Generate and manage API keys for programmatic access to IronWifi:

  1. Navigate to Account > API Keys
  2. Click Generate New Key
  3. Copy the key immediately - it will only be shown once
  4. Set appropriate permissions for each key

API keys provide full access to the REST API for automating user management, voucher generation, and configuration tasks.

Rate Limits​

Default API rate limits:

  • 100 requests per minute for standard accounts
  • 1,000 requests per minute for enterprise accounts

Contact support to request higher limits for high-volume integrations.

Accessing Settings​

To access account settings:

  1. Log in to the IronWifi Console
  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select Account Settings
  4. Navigate through the available tabs to configure each area
